Steps for Company Formation in Dubai mainland, UAE
To register a Company in the mainland, you need to
1. Find a local sponsor to act as the service agent for your company formation in UAE (the lawyers you engage could assist you)
2. Decide upon the business to be established and, based on that, the legal form of your business.
3. Apply for company registration to the Department of Economic Development (DED) with a proposed company name
4. Obtain a trade license by submitting the company’s documents to the Department of Economic Development (DED) or the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the case may be.
5. Get the company’s Memorandum of Association (MOA) notarized.
6. Register the trade name
7. Apply for an Establishment Card
8. Obtain the initial and special approvals
9. Sign the Memorandum Of Association and lease agreement before a public notary
10. Obtain location and inspection approval from the Municipality
11. Get document processing done to get a payment voucher issued
12. Pay the license fee to get a trade license issued
13. For hiring employees, get approval from the Name Board and Ministry of Labour.
